The database is periodically updated by regional coordinators around the country. In addition to providing information for plant pathologists and diagnosticians, the list will be used by APHIS-PPQ and State Plant Regulatory Officials to develop a list of plant-parasitic and/or pathogenic nematodes that are common in each state to help expedite the permitting process for obtaining research isolates.
